Mass Coordinators provide assistance to the priest and liturgist at each Sunday Mass. They work closely with the priest and liturgist to promote reverent and effective ministry. Their specific tasks at each Sunday Mass are as follows:

   •  Verify that all ministries are covered for the assigned Mass. Inform the main
       celebrant if any ministries are not covered 5 minutes before Mass 
   •  Make adjustments to ministries if additional Clergy are available (i.e., Deacons
       or Priests)
   •  Maintain the ministries sign-in sheet for each Mass. Includes Altar Servers,
       Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, and Ushers.
   •  Assist new volunteers in becoming acclimated to the role of their ministry 
   •  Submit a completed ministries report to the liturgist after each Sunday Mass  
   •  Greet and be able to identify the ministry volunteers serving at their
        assigned Mass 
   •  Assist any visiting priest or the main celebrant if they have questions as to the
       role or availability of specific ministries 
   •  Gather the ministers for prayer 5 minutes before Mass  
   •  Provide names of new parishioners who express an interest in any of the
       ministries to the liturgist
