e-mail Paula The sacristans are a group of parishioners that prepare the church (candles, lights, sound system, etc.) all liturgical vessels, and the sanctuary prior to each Mass, i.e. daily, weekend and special liturgical celebrations. Once Mass is complete, they clean and return all liturgical items to their proper place for the next Mass. Additionally, after the final Mass of the day, the church’s lights and sound system should be turned off. |
